Opal was first found at Yita Ridge in the Menz Gishe district
of Shewa Province, Ethiopia. It is found in a nodular rhyolite,
exhibits "fire", and was discovered in the early
1990's.

has been used to facilitate astral travel, to stimulate
conscious-dreaming, and to act as a mirror to reflect ones
inner visions and aspirations. It works to promote a clear
