Round "HALO Spartan" Shield

Here's very unique shield inspired by the wall markings from the popular HALO games! I'm not sure if it's a Covenant or Human marking, only that it looks really interesting, especially on a shield! The design has been handpainted over an airbrushed white burst background. The shield is made out of a 1/2" thick smooth composite wood (which is considerably stronger than plywood). Dual leather straps are used to secure the arm along the back—one going over the forearm and one intended to be gripped (or held). The shield has also been applied with several coats of varnish to further protect and preserve it from wear. It measures about 25 inches in diameter.

This item would be perfect for that upcoming Renaissance Festival in your area, or maybe some backyard brawling between friends.... Trust me, pictures can't do this wonderful shield justice, or show the time that I put into building it. Would also make a great gift for that Renaissance-enthusiast you know!

Because of the size and weight of the shield, buyer to pay $17.99 shipping. Insurance is extra, if you want it. (Shipping will be higher for Canada & Europe).
