Royal Copenhagen Mini Collectors Plate
41/2010 - Landsoldaten Fredericia

    You are bidding on a lovely Royal Copenhagen Mini collectors plate made by the Aluminia company in Denmark. It is about 3&1/4 inches in diameter. The mark on the bottom has the A with three wavy lines and the word Denmark underneath, with a "U" above the A in Denmark.(Please see pictures) This dates the piece back to 1953. I figured this out by looking at an Aluminia dating chart located at http://www.jamiri.dk/aluminia-mark.htm#Aluminia. There is a hole on the back for hanging this plate on the wall.
    The piece is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or breaks. There is some light wear. There are some minor manufacturing flaws. There is some crazing. There appears to be a small piece of porcelain stuck to the back, it appears to be some sort of manufacturing flaw. I can't figure out any reason why it needs to be there. The piece is absolutely stunning! Please see the pictures. They are of the exact item you will receive.
