Offered for auction: A lovely large 12-ounce creamer in the "Biscay" pattern from Royal Doulton China, described at replacements.com (item 80581) as "Lambethware, blue bands," 1972-1988.

This Doulton creamer measures 4.25 inches high and 3.25 inches wide at the foot. It is in very good to excellent condition, with rich trim and nicely defined multiple shades of blue bands on the gray glaze. There are no utensil marks that I can see, and no chips, cracks, flakes, fleabites, or crazing.

The creamer has a detailed stamp under the glaze that reads: "Lambeth Stoneware / Royal Doulton / Biscay / L.S. 1007 / Made in England" (photo below).
