Presented here for consideration is a Roayl Doulton Grape Vines “C” vase. This is a very RARE series, it went into production in 1937 and was discontinued during WWII. The Vase is shape 7996 – the shape number is clearly impressed into the base of the vase.

It has a Maroon stamped maker’s mark of the style that was in use from 1932 until 1942. This piece was produced in 1937 – I can tell this for sure by the small 10 just to the left of the crown in the makers mark.

  • Dimensions

It stands a proud 14 cm (5.5”) tall and it has a diameter of 12 cm (4.75”).

  • Condition 

It is in EXCELLENT condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. As is most often the way with production of this style and vintage, it does exhibit some crazing – nothing hideous mind – just enough to impart a delightful antique patina.
