Presented here for consideration is a Royal Doulton Gum Trees “A” Tea Cup and Saucer. The gum trees “A” series was initially introduced in 1934 and it was withdrawn during WWII c. 1942. There seven scenes associated with this series.

Printed by hand on the base of both items is the pattern number “D.3506. Both the cup and the saucer have a black stamped maker’s mark of the style that was in use during the 1930’s.

  • Dimensions

The saucer has a diameter of 14.5 cm (5.5”) and the cup is 7.5 cm (3”) tall.

  • Condition

This magical set is in EXCELLENT condition with NO chips, cracks, stains or repairs. As is most often the case with production of this style and vintage it does exhibit some crazing.

I just love this very Aussie pattern, it is poular and not very easy to come by. This is a prize well worth the owning; hit the BUY IT NOW tab and make sure it is not pilfered right out from under your nose.
