 Description Shipping and payments

Presented here for consideration is a magical Royal Doulton Bone China Jug decorated with the Welsh series. This series was introduced in 1906 and it had been withdrawn by 1940.

This series was designed by Charles Noke and it consists of 17 scenes. It has a Black stamped Royal Doulton’s mark of the style that was in use from 1902 until 1932, hand written in maroon ink is the pattern number “E3794.

  • Dimensions

This beauty stands a proud 15 cm (6”) tall and it has a base diameter of 7.5 cm (3”).

  • Condition

It is in EXCELLENT condition; there are no chips, cracks or repairs. As is most often the case with production of this style and vintage it does exhibit some crazing – nothing hideous – just enough to impart a delightful antique patina.

This is the first time I have ever had this pattern. I must say it is very desirable - from the scene to the deep green trim – this is a real ripper.
