Presented here for consideration is a PRISTINE Royal Doulton Wild Rose Vase done on the magnificent mottled blue colour-way. The Rose “G”, or Wild Roses as it is also known, was introduced in 1940 and it had been withdrawn by 1951.

The vase shape is shape 8093, this number is impressed into the base. It bears a green stamped under glaze maker’s mark. This magnificent vase was manufactured in 1947, I can be sure of this by the small 20 just to the right of the makers mark.

  • Dimensions

This magical stands a proud 15 cm (6”) tall and it has a mouth diameter of 15 cm (6”).

  • Condition

It is in AS NEW condition; with no chips, cracks or repairs and NO crazing. This is exactly as it was the day it came out of the factory when it was brand spanking new nigh on 65years ago.

Wild Rose is a striking pattern and this back-ground colour in my opinion is the best that Doulton ever put floral their patterns on to. I never seem to be able to find enough of this particular pattern.
