TWEED SET - GOLDEN PEAR - 6 PC
3/8 YD
A marvelous collection of brand new off the bolt tweeds, herringbones, windowpane plaids, checks, and solids - all overdyed in GOLDEN PEAR. 6 pieces - each piece is 1/16 of a yard - aprox 8x15. This will vary somewhat based on how each individual wool shrunk and felted in the dye bath.
Each of these collections is a set of 5 different tweed textures and one piece of solid wool. They were all hand dyed in the same color. This gives an amazing set of wools for your use in the same color but different textures.
ALL OUR WOOL IS PERFECT FOR PRIMITIVE AND TRADITIONAL WOOL CRAFTS OF ALL KINDS. This wool can be used for penny rugs, traditional primitive rug hooking, wool quilts, sewing and many other crafts that need or use wool.
The lanolin we use is Pharmaceutical grade and highly refined. Read more about it later in our ad.
Rug hooking wool, penny rug wool and craft wool with lanolin re-infused into it resists dust and dirt better. It is also more water and stain repellent than non treated wool. The wool is softer and less harsh on your hands and helps protect your hands from drying and chapping as you use it.

WHY USE LANOLIN and WHAT IS LANOLIN WOOL?
All wool has been soaked in pure hospital grade lanolin as the final soak. This makes the wool soft and conditions the wool to make it hook better and feel better in your hands.
We use a lanolin wool wash called Kookaburra. It re-infuses the wool with all it's wonderful goodness. Kookaburra is also offered in our store so you can treat all your wool and make it even more wonderful!
When you dye wool, the lanolin is melted out of it. After we dye our wool, we soak it in the Kookaburra, which puts the lanolin back in the wool.
Wool with lanolin, resists dirt, debris, stains, dust and water. By soaking our wool, it makes for a much better final product for you.
Once you use our wool, we are sure you will feel, smell and see the difference. Wool is marvelous and wonderful and a lot of it's greatness is for it's lanolin properties.
