You are looking at a gorgeous embroidered floor runner or area rug from the Kashmir region of India.  Hand worked in wool on a backing of cotton canvas, this is a traditional pattern that would look beautiful in any home decor of any style.  The background is deep red,  decorated with medallions of black, gold and green - embellished by a beautiful border. 

The workmanship on this runner is beautifully professional.  It measures 30" wide x 120" long.  Made in India.  All of our textiles come from a 100% non-smoking environment.
