This bayonet and its scabbard are in excellent plus condition. It is the Russian AK47 from 1947 and it has an unusual split rear barrel ring and an unusual locking system. It has a maroon colored grip and the scabbard is blued (black) metal. The blade has not been sharpened. The only marking is a number 4678 on one side of the pommel (rear barrel ring). The blade is 8” long and it is 12 3/8” overall.
