Based on the Tchaikovsky opera "The Nutcracker" this egg, by the famous Wallace Silversmiths, has a magnificent translucent ruby red enameling over a guilloche wavy backround. This is our FINEST quality version of this Imperial Egg. The silver is heavy and the crystlas are the highest reflective quality. The silver layered finish is set with jewel cut Austrian gemsones in Emerald and Ruby colors. Measures approx 5.5" tall by 7" wide. When opened, it reveals a white satin-lined top and a mirrored surface upon which Clara magnetically dances around the Prince, Snow Queen, Mouse King, and Sugar Plum Fairy to music from the "Nutcracker Suite."
