Rutilated Quartz in good quality is a prized collectible for those interested in mineral specimens. However, very rarely is the rutile found in red. This necklace and earring set is composed in 9mm round beads cut from gorgeous, 'red hair' rutilated quartz! With a casual glance, the beads appear to be solid red; however, closer inspection reveals the very tiny, individual needles of rutile. These beads have been strung individually on 14KGF wire, and self-linked. Dangling from the necklace is a pendant made of a 30mm x 22mm x 7.5mm bead of Fire (Crab) Agate. Long flat gold beads (25mm x 8mm x 5mm) of hand-brushed Vermeil complement the rutilated quartz beads, and the pendant hangs from a V-shape formed by two elongated kite (13mm x 5mm x 5mm) Vermeil beads. A fancy, Bali-style double hook clasp completes the look. The earrings feature 1.75" drops on 14K ear wires, with red rutilated quartz beads ands rectangular 18mm x 13mm x 6mm Fire (Crab) Agate bead, accented by the elongated kite Vermeil beads. If you have a problem with your purchase, please contact us immediately to see if we can resolve it. If a return is necessary, you must request a return authorization code to display on the return shipping label. The item must be insured for full value and shipped within 7 days. When the item arrives in good condition, a refund will be issued for the purchase price; shipping and insurance are not refundable. A restocking fee of 10% may be charged.
