Mechanical Scrolling X-Ray Viewer

Up for auction now is a model MV-200A Scrolling X-Ray Viewer/Lightbox/Illuminator, made by S&S X-Ray Products.  This piece of equipment is used, but is still in great physical condition.  There are a few minor scuffs on the surface of the unit, but these are hardly noticeable on a device this size.  For the most part, this viewer is in great physical condition.  Refer to the pictures provided below for further cosmetic detail.

This viewer has two upper illumination areas, each measuring 56" by 16", and a place below measuring 56" by 9" (this area sits behind two sliding plexi-glass doors).

We tested this item, but our results were very disappointing.  The unit runs on normal 110V power, but it requires a power cord that we do not have.  We were able to get around this in testing by affixing some bare wires to the connections with electrical tape.  This should work, but it can be rather unsafe, so we do not recommend anyone trying this at home.  Unfortunately, we did not get any response from the lights when we connected the power line.  We also tried supplying power to the motor, but the only response we got from that was the "motor" light above the light switch comes on.  This tells us that power was getting to the device, it's just not working for some other reason.

Because of the apparent functional problems with this unit, we must sell it as-is.  We do still guarantee it to be as described and pictured.
