These are the last listings I will have of any bottles or netsukes that were left in my collection. I hope I have kept the best until last. All items cost £4 shipping worldwide for the first item and £2 (a 50% reduction) for each extra item won - once all items are paid for and mailed at the same time. This is a truly stunning Chinese piece. It is a wonderful blue fused quartz snuff bottle. This has been finished off with a stopper with a spoon attached to the inside. I do not know if this fused quartz is naturally made or if it has been man made. This bottle is well hollowed out. What you see in the photo is what you get. The colours are as close as I can get them and all photos have been taken in natural light.

Fused quartz is normally transparent.Fused quartz can also form naturally. The naturally occurring form of fused quartz is usually referred to as Metaquartzite and is formed under metamorphic conditions. Due to increased heat the crystals within the quartz become fused together. All bottles are described to the best of my ability and are sold in good faith. This would make a wonderful addition to a Snuff Bottle Collection, a Oriental art collection, a Miniature Collection or just a valued addition to anyone's home.......... 237 |
