I CHARGE ACTUAL POSTAGE PLUS A SMALL AMOUNT FOR THE COST OF PACKAGING & HANDLING AND USE THE ROYAL MAIL FOR MOST SHIPMENTS. UK ITEMS ARE GENERALLY SENT AS PACKETS, SOMETIMES LARGE LETTERS. (NOT EASY FOR RIBBON ORDERS AS I USE BUBBLEWRAP TO PROTECT THE PURCHASE...AND THAT SOMETIMES MAKES THEM TOO FAT!!) OVERSEAS ITEMS ARE SENT AT SMALL PACKET RATE, EUROPE BY AIR MAIL AND FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD BY AIR OR SURFACE MAIL, AS YOU CHOOSE. (IT'S WORTH CONSIDERING SURFACE MAIL AS WE FIND MANY SURFACE PARCELS DO INDEED GO BY AIR....BUT  PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NO WAY GUARANTEED...IF YOU CHOOSE SURFACE MAIL YOU ARE ONLY PAYING FOR THAT SERVICE AFTER ALL!!)

So ...... Payment within 7 days of close of auction please unless you email to advise that you wish to continue shopping in order to combine shipping for your purchases! You don't have to use Paypal to pay by credit/debit card..I have a merchant account and can accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta and Amex but for your security payments details should to be submitted by placing a dummy order on my web-site (please email me for the web-site details; NEVER email your details directly to me) or you can call me on 01702 559005 to give your details and to pay by this method.  Overseas bidders to pay by Paypal or credit/debit card (as detailed above) and please wait for me to send an invoice before paying as postage costs will be more than the UK rates shown. I obtain proof of posting for all items and this enables me to claim the cost of an item (maximum compensation £36), but not postage/packing costs, from the Royal Mail if lost. For parcels worth in excess of £36, insurance is recommended especially for overseas customers, as I cannot be held responsible for more than the Royal Mail's basic compensation if you chose not to insure these items! I will gladly split orders over a couple of parcels if preferred as insurance on overseas parcels costs £5.70 per parcel...the small packet limit is only 2 kilos and on some heavier fabrics that doesn't cover many metres! This will only add the cost of the additional packaging for the extra parcel(s).
