SANDS OF TIME FROM GREAT SPHINX - WICCA EARTH ELEMENT

The Ancients believed that magick spells and charms would last forever if cast with sand from between the front paws of The Great Sphinx of Egypt. That sand is called "The Sands of Time." The tradition of magick is long in Ancient Egypt. The Book of the Dead contains many magickcal prayers. Some Egyptologists claim The Great Sphinx is far older than what modern scientists claim - perhaps as old as 12,000 years. Before we collected this potent element we raised a circle within the paws of the Great Sphinx. We asked it and the Goddess for their permission to harvest this potent element. We were fortunate to be able to take a trip of a life time to Egypt in 2002. We brought back 6 water bottles filled with "The Sands of Time." We have found that it is a rare spell that we desire to have last until time ends. Humility is an important aspect of magick. We humans must know our place.
