This auction is for a wonderful, old cast aluminim "ball hinged" Scandanavian krumkake / cake iron made in Minneapolis, MN by Nordic-Ware.  I'm not certain about the year of production.  The auction includes three seperate pieces, the two irons and the matching base.  The diameter of the iron is 5".  The diameter of the base is 8".  The 5" wooden handles appear to be oak.  All three pieces are in good, vintage condition with no major defects beyond light scratches.  These pieces have obviously been well cared for and should be considered a rare American treasure!
