At auction this evening, we have a 1942/1-D Mercury Dime, cataloged as FS-101 (FS-010.8), which we grade at Very Fine.  This scarce overdate specimen spent some considerable time in a cardboard backed album which lends to its more thickly toned reverse.

This coin is guaranteed to be authenticated as a genuine specimen of this popular overdate by either NGC or PCGS and we extend our money-back-guaranty to 60 days in order to account for any submission times.
