This listing is specifically for Martin guitars as above. Martin uses a thin, lightly-breathable finish that allow the guitar soundboard & body to vibrate properly. While durable, it is slightly more delicate than other mass-produced guitar finishes but gives Martin its famous sound. Not all guitar finishes are alike--they can differ greatly in thickness, texture, composition, & method of application. This polish is designed with the guitar above in mind.
