CoulterPrecision™ Stainless Steel Handled ³/₁₆" Hexagon Handle Carbide Scrimshaw Tool

 

This  ³/₁₆" hexagon handle handmade scrimshaw tool has a stainless steel handle that has been matt finished to provide comfort and durability.  The solid carbide shaft has been sharpened to a point on an 800 grit diamond wheel. The point is so sharp that no undue exertion is required to scribe, as the weight of the tool itself is enough to perform any action.

Final inspection of these high quality tools is made on a Jones & Lamson comparator using a 20x lens. The tool comes complete with a solid walnut holder that protects the point and is used to store the tool when not in use.
