Vintage Sculpted Plunge Bombshell Dress

"Sexy" is just too tame a word to describe this hot little black dress.
Jet black crepe with chiffon overlay. Dress features a gently tapered wiggle skirt and sculpted sweetheart bustier bodice with deep, plunging decollete'. |

|
Sheer chiffon overlay has a blouson effect and features dolman, three quarter length sleeves. Chiffon overlay of skirt is fitted to the taper of the skirt. Dress does not have belt loops or a belt. We've shown it here with a black satin ribbon which we would be happy to include if you like. |

The rear silhouette is as sexy as the front with the sheer overlay revealing the deep plunge/low back of the attached under-dress.
Sheer top secures at the rear neckline and again at the top line of the under-dress, beautifully baring the back in an elongated oval.

We would suggest adding a hook and eye closure at the waist which would cover the zipper.
Below is a photo of the label and interior construction. Bodice is boned to maintain shape and structure. Previous owner added straps which we will leave for the new owner to wear or remove. You can see a tiny bit of them in the photo below.

Measurements:
These are the measurements of the garment, not the body it would fit. Please use a tape measure to take your own measurements, and compare with those below. Interior bodice should fit snugly. This is a difficult dress to measure and you may need minor alterations to have it fit your specific body.
Bust - we measured the area just beneath the bust to be approximately 30" around. Individual cups measure approximately 10" each following their contour. Please measure both these areas on your body.
Waist - 27"
Hips - 38"
Shoulder to Waist - approx 16"
Shoulder to Hem - approx 41"
Hem Circumference - 36"
Condition:
Overall excellent condition. Dress is jet black with no fade. We find no holes, snags, odors. There is a tiny seam separation of the chiffon overlay at the waist:
There are two tiny white dots on the skirt in the front, several inches above the hem. We have not tried to clean them. You might be able to clean these or cover with a black dye pen. We'll leave that to the new owner.
