Sedge Hammer is a selective herbicide for the post-emergence control of nutsedge and other weeds in turfgrass and landscaped areas, formerly Manage, product of Monsanto, now from GOWAN CO.  Complete directions for use are included for the water-dispersible granules, ready to do a great job on your lawn! Controls sedges such as purple or yellow nutsedge in established lawns, ornamental turf grass, and landscaped areas. Sedge Hammer  is packaged in this one-unit size, which makes 1 gallon of spray! 

NOTE: Sedge Hammer is ALSO available packaged for the larger user in the 1.33 OUNCE size, about 40 times the quantity in the .9 gram packet offered here in our eBay store. (You may have heard this called "the Acre Size!") A great savings if you have a larger lawn.

The active ingredient is: *Methyl 5-(4,6 dimethoxy-2-pyrididinyl)(amino, carbonylaminosulfonyl-3-chloro-1-methyl-1-H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate.......75%!   We have many customers who use this product and they say it's the best there is.    The manufacturer suggests the use of a Non-Ionic Surfactant with this product.  Makes it go further and work better!  We sell Southern Ag's Surfactant for Herbicides (non-Ionic)  here in our eBay store and NOW Methylated Seed Oil Premium Surfactant is also available here in 3 sizes!
