The VA62 Universal Video Analyzer is designed to test television and video cassette recorder circuitry. It combines the separate features of a dc power supply, digital voltmeter, rf signal generator, video pattern generator, audio signal generator, television signal substituter, and more into a single unit. The VA62 reduces troubleshooting time by allowing the technician to rapidly substitute signals for any functional block of the television or VCR such as the , 1st/2nd/3rd IF, RF tuner, horizontal/vertical drive and sync, and more. Additionally, the VA62 can test yokes, flybacks, and other high voltage components. The VA62 can measure up to 2 kVDC direct or 50 kVDC optionally with an accessory probe.
