The IS 410 includes a convenient automatic on and off feature. By simply pulling apart each headset "bow" when wearing it, the headset switches on. The user can then adjust volume and balance directly on the headset. To enhance speech intelligibility while listening, the user may select the compression option on the transmitter. When finished, the user removes the headset, which also turns off automatically, dramatically improving battery life.
