Major differences between Sephra Commercial Fountains and other chocolate fountains include:
Heating Element: The heating element heats the basin and keeps the at a consistent temperature. Other fountains use a single coil heating element (similar to the one in your oven) that rests directly underneath the basin. This type of heating element does not heat the basin evenly. These heating elements can also create "Hot Spots" and can scorch the chocolate at the contact point with the basin.
All Sephra Fountains come with an aluminum encased, 4" wide, dual coil heating element to produce even heat distribution from the center of the basin to the outer edges. Because it is shielded with aluminum it is less likely you will experience burned or scorched chocolate.
110/120v Motor: Sephra Fountains is proud to use only the finest internal components including a customized aluminum encased motor which not only has 66% more horsepower than the competition, but is quieter by several decibels and has a fan built directly onto the motor for direct cooling. Other fountains use a generic industrial motor that has been altered to fit into the fountains. This motor is louder and requires an external fan to cool the fountain and components. If the interior of the fountains becomes too hot, the motor may overheat and stop working, resulting in time consuming and costly repairs.
Over size basin Width: The Sephra chocolate basin (34” and 44”models) is wider than other basins reducing normal drippage outside on the presentation table.
Auger Handle Knob: Sephra designed its auger with a special knob for increased ease of handling and cleaning. Warm chocolate can be slippery and the blade difficult to safely grasp.
Melt Chocolate in Basin: Sephra Fountains are designed to melt Sephra Chocolate directly in our fountain basin without oil or other additives. Many chocolate fountains must have their chocolate heated first outside the fountain, and require oil or other additives to the chocolate.
Travel Cases: All Sephra Chocolate Fountains come shipped with 2 double-walled, high-impact polymer carrying cases which allow you to easily transport your chocolate fountain from place to place.We also offer an optional tier case that lets you take the fountain home from an event without having to take it apart and clean it first. These cases protect your fountain from scratches and make it easy to store.
Lifetime Warranty: Sephra is the only fountain manufacturer that gives a Lifetime Warranty on the fountain. (Two year limited warranty on motor).
