On the auction is the beret with the sign of the special Serbian unit JSO. This unit was formed during the Civil war in former Yugoslawia and its first creator was Franko Simatovic - FRENKI. The unit took part in all wars in Croatian and Bosnia and Herzegowina and it got its reputation during the war as the Red berets. After the war the unit was located in Kula and its commander during this period was Milorad Ulemek - LEGIJA. On the 11. March 2003.the Serbian prime minister Zoran Djindjic got killed in an assassination and Milorad Ulemek LEGIJA was accused of murder as one of the organisers of this assassination. This act put a black stain on the whole unit and so it got disbanded by the Serbian government. The beret with this sign had been in use for a short time i this unit and therefore it can be rarely found as well maintained today.
