Each image was first created as a unique work of fine art by Peter Paone, one of America's most versatile, prolific and innovative artists. For this collection, Paone has selected twelve works, and has personally supervised the card creation process using skilled printers, high quality papers and archival inks. Chosen for their appeal to creative and imaginative individuals, these all-occasion cards are blank inside to carry personal messages of love, friendship or whimsy.

About Peter Paone

Peter Paone was born in Philadelphia and educated at The Philadelphia College of Art and The Albert C. Barnes Foundation. He has taught at Pratt Institute and The National Academy of Design in New York and since 1978, The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. The lengthy list of honors, awards and grants the artist has garnered include two Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Grants, a Pennsylvania Council for the Arts Grant, a Mid-Atlantic Grant, The Print Club Award of Merit and the 172nd Annual Painting Prize from the National Academy of Design. Paone is also a Guggenheim Foundation Fellow.

Paone's work appeared in fifty-two one person exhibitions in New York, Houston, Fort Worth, London, Philadelphia, Vienna and Hamburg. His work has joined other artists in thirty-two group exhibitions, nationally and internationally since 1960. The artist's paintings, drawings and prints are included in many public collections which include The Museum of Modern Art, The Victoria and Albert Museum, The British Museum, The National Gallery of Art, The Library of Congress, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Art Institute of Chicago, The Arkansas Art Center, and The National Academy of Design.
