SET 8 GORGOUS CZECH CUT CRANBERRY GLASS HOCK WINE STEMS
FRESH FROM ESTATE ~ WERE WEDDING GIFT OVER 50 YEARS AGO
If you have been following my auctions lately you will know I have been working on the best estate we have ever handled. In that estate we purchased a very large amount of 1950's Czech crystal Hock stemmed Wine glasses. This auction is for a set of eight (8) matching glasses done in the Pinwheel pattern, and best of all I actually have 26 of these stems, they were a wedding gift for the couple back in the 1950's. I am selling a set of eight (8) in this auction, but the high bidder will be offered a Buy It Now option on the remaining lot, if you win this auction but want four more, we will sell them at half the price you paid for the eight, the high bidder can purchase as many extras as they want, up to eighteen extra. This is a rare find, perfect for a very large head table at a wedding, or if you love to entertain large gatherings. These glasses are gorgeous, standing approx 7-3/4" tall, 2-3/4" across the base, and 2-1/2" across the openings, but please be aware because these were hand made there is some very slight variation in height (no more than an 1/16 of an inch, you would never notice). The large Silver Plate tray is merely for presentation purposes, it is being sold as well tonight in one of my other auctions, but is not included in this sale. The glasses were kept most of their life in a china hutch and as such are in pretty much mint condition, certainly NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR WEAR ! I would also just like to point out that this is a higher quality set than some I have seen with the stems showing a very detailed cut pattern as well. The family collected more of this type of stem ware over the years so be sure to check my other auctions for of this most desirable crystal. This is part of the best estate we have handled in years. Returns:
We make great effort to accurately describe each item listed. Returns are accepted, if either condition, country of origin or dating is significantly incorrect. In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer's remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how "small" four inches might be once in hand. Also all returns must be posted within 3 days of delivery confirmation.
