ENGLISH ANTIQUE REGENCY DINING CHAIRS  MAHOGANY (set of four)

I have for auction a set of four Regency dining chairs made in England.

These chairs have burgundy & gold upholstered drop-in cushions, which I had done to match my dining room about 10 years ago but still in imaculate condition apart from a tiny ink stain (shown in picture) but hardly noticable!

They have,  I think they call it splayed legs! please study picture! and one bar at the back.  The individual markings on these chairs are ... IIII -  VI  -  I  -  X

I have shown in the photograph the back of one chair, it looks like years ago it was cracked and had 3 very old screws put in to strengthen it.  I have had possession of these chairs since 1991 and they have always been in a sturdy condition

They are in very good condition and all that is needed is a good polish and they would compliment any dining table.

Measurements:  overall height 33",  height of legs to seat 17",  width of chair at front 18",  width of chair at back 14 1/2"
