Up for consideration is this SHEAFFER PEN CO. BLACK TRIUMPH SNORKEL-FILL WHITE DOT FOUNTAIN PEN. The W. A. Sheaffer Pen seen below comes from our good friend Art and his Vintage Fountain Pen collection. Art has been collecting old Pens for many years so keep an eye out as we'll be listing numerous Fountain pens from his large pen collection. The outside of this Pen case reads: W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. Fort Madison, Iowa U.S.A. Made in U.S.A. The clip is not marked. The Gold band on the cap reads: 14K and there's a name of David Harkers engraved on it. The NIB reads: SHEAFFER'S Reg. US. Pat. Office Made in U.S.A. 14K. The cap has the WHITE DOT as seen below. We are not sure of the exact age. CONDITION: The highly collectible Black Triumph Sheaffer Fountain Pen is the SNORKEL-FILL type and is in WORKING fillable condition! This Pen does fill and does work as intended. This Snorkel-Fill is working! The pen measures aprox. 5-1/2" long with the cap on. With the cap off the pen alone is aprox. 4-7/8" long. This has the 14K Gold trim and clip. The gold trim is slightly worn with light hairline scratching from age and general use. The silver color and 14K Gold NIB is in excellent overall used condition with minimal light hairline scratching. No serious damage was found on the top or bottom of the NIB. This NIB looks near new! Detailed photos are seen of the NIB. There are no cracks or hairlines in the pen case or pen cap. Light hairline micro scratching and micro nicking is seen scattered throughout the pen case and cap from age and general use. This pen was inspected with a 10x jeweler's glass.
