You would swear that it's magic that Shimano can design a crank silly light yet able to handle to most rigorous demands of racers world wide. The Shimano XTR M960 is one of the lightest crankset available for mountain bikes. Just take a look at the pictures, the crankset is in good condition. There's normal wear and tear on the crank arms as shown in the pictures.
