This sweater is from the Martin Margiela Hermes collection. Any Hermes connoisseur knows that the Margiela collections were fabulous.
We give VERY detailed and factual descriptions. We want you to be happy with your purchase and part of that is making the right choice. We emphasize on fit, material and color and stress several times that in case you are ambivalent about your choice, please check with HERMES BEFORE bidding as we do not allow for returns.

- caretag was lost (Margiela's tags always came off - they were attached by 2 loose stitches - but we remember clearly the exact composition and have sold several of these sweaters, two are currently listed, please check our other items! If this is a problem for you PLEASE DO NOT bid. Again caretag has been lost, Hermes tag is attached (see pictures)

This is the best we can describe this color. If you are ambiguous about your choice, please check with HERMES before bidding as all our sales are final!! We are NOT responsible if the color does not suit you/the intended gift recipient or if you interpreted the colors differently.
The visual sensation of color is very subjective. Each person experiences the sensation of color differently because many variables influence our color perception. Even if we did all see color the same way, we would still interpret and describe it differently based upon our individual life experience.

- Size: No Size tag - size tag was with the caretag and was lost. Sweater fits sizes Small to Medium. PLEASE CHECK MEASUREMENTS BEFORE BIDDING.
PLEASE NOTE: To date there is no uniformity in sizing. Every manufacturer uses a different sizing system. Please do not say to yourself "I ALWAYS wear a size M in Hermes" but rather check the measurements. The best (and only thing) we can do is to give you the measurements. Please measure one of your items (which fits you) against the measurements we are giving you. We are not the manufacturer of this item and decline all responsibility as to the fit or the sizing of the garment.

Measurements: Measurements are always approximate and taken to the best of our abilities

- This is a LONG top!!
Our mannequin measures 5.8" (1.75 m), is a small size 4 (US) and is a lifeless object without any body flaws (basically a wooden body on a stick). Item might or might not look or drape the same on you. We decline all responsibility!
Measure once - measure twice - we want you to get it right. The cut of garments and the sizing varies from season to season. You owe it to yourself to make sure the item fits you or fits the intended gift recipient BEFORE bidding as we do not allow for returns nor exchanges. The best and only thing we can do is to state the size on the tag

We doubt the item was worn but for the sake of this auction we sell it as pre-owned = worn = NOT NEW. Please make sure you are comfortable bidding on pre-owned items. Hermes retail prices are not for the fainthearted (please check how much a Hermes cashmere/silk sweater currently retails for) it is possibly the most expensive pret-a-porter line in the world but their items are truly timeless (if properly cared for). If your expectations are unrealistic, we kindly ask you to refrain from bidding.
