SIGNED FAYRAL ART DECO BRONZE LAMP SERENITE

This piece is based in the US where we will ship from. It's a great time to buy for US buyers as the exchange rate is so in your favour. You are viewing a gorgeous art deco lamp by Fayral. The piece has a signature on the back, next to a stamp from the foundry in Paris. I hope the photos do this stunning piece some justice, it's certainly better in the flesh.

I hope you agree how it somehow epitomises the art deco aesthetic, as the girl drapes herself seductively over the light box with drapes. She wears a characteristic 20s hat as he head is cocked to one side. She stands on the tired base, another deco motif.

This really is a stylish collectable piece and in the right location this would be the talking point of any collection. This is a light and is wired for use in the US - it lets out a really atmospheric glow from the light box. I've shown some examples of how it looks in the pictures. It even has two settings for different lighting.

The casting is incredible, check out details like the close ups of the hands and feet and how intricate they are. This is offered in perfect condition and we will ship to anywhere in the world.

Fayral and Guerbe were 2 pseudonyms used by the famous Pierre Le Faguays. Fayral and Guerbe were both the family names for his Mother and his Wife. Le Faguays was born in Nantes, France and became famous for the originality he gave his dancers, many of which were inspired by the statues of Tanagra. He gained a medal of honour for his work in 1927. He was a best friend of Max Le Verrier and the Le Verrier foundry made most of - if not all of his pieces.

Want something and you can't find it. Let us know what it is and we will do our best to locate it. We source items from all around the world on frequent buying trips - so let us know what you are looking for and we will list it on eBay as a Buy It Now!
DUE TO THE UNUSUAL RANGE OF OUR STOCK WE FREQUENTLY WORK WITH INTERIOR DESIGNERS
WHY BUY ANTIQUES?
Unlike many other material purchases antiques retain and increase in value. They are a sound
investment as they appreciate in value - aesthetically and economically. That is why frequently
people invest in antiques rather than stocks and shares when the economic climate is not favourable. They make great family heirlooms and gifts as they are passed down generation to
generation. Of course all our items are hand sourced and picked by us so we like to think they are beautiful too and will look great in your homes!
