This is one of my famous "paintings in progress", a painting which IS NOW ALMOST finished, I think I have just a bit more softening and brushwork to do in the center of the painting...just a way for me to show my customers what I am working on, and even give them a chance to grab it before anyone else can! : ) I actually had listed it as finished, but lately it's been glaring at me from the corner asking for a bit more work. It is unframed and measures 18" x 24". It is offered with no reserve price.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET MY EMAILS PROMPTLY OR TO SHIP BETWEEN JUNE 7 AND JUNE 14! Thanks for your understanding! The painting ended up having a really cool greenish cast to the lower part of the sky, I love it when that dramatic color comes into a sky, and hope it brings to mind inspiring mornings, especially mornings on my beloved Edisto Island . You'll find that it's a similar feeling to many east coast beach scenes from South Carolina and for that matter, anywhere on the east coast.
Also, a cool thing about this piece is that you can see a little youtube video showing a little of my work on it...just search youtube for "susankennedyart"'s channel, and it will be the most recent one.
It is 18" x 24" studio wrap style canvas, with no staples on its black painted edges (email me for a photo of the edge if you wish), and is painted in oil/alkyds (Winsor and Newton's "Griffin" brand) on stretched canvas.
