SIMONS BAS RELIEF GRAPES STERLING SILVER THIMBLE!!!

SIMONS BROS. HIGHLY RAISED GRAPES PATTERN STERLING SILVERTHIMBLE from the collection of the late Alta Thompson*. This THIMBLE has CLUSTERS OF GRAPES, LEAVES, and VINES in BAS RELIEF on a GRAY FINISH BAND. SIMONS patented this H. A. WEIMAN design in 1907. The size, "10", is stamped on the cartouche. The otherwise blank cartouche is an unusual shape UNIQUE to this design. Stamped inside the top with the Simons trade mark and “STERLING”. It is pictured in AMERICAN SILVER THIMBLES, page 88, plate 12, catalog #148. Slightly out of round, otherwise, UNUSED, MINT condition. PLEASE STUDY THE PICTURES FOR CONDITION.
