SINGER TOUCH-TRONIC 2000 MEMORY SEWING MACHINE

I have a collection of sewing machines.  I am currently thinning out my collection and this machine did not make the cut so I am offering it up for sale.  This auction is for one USED Singer Touch-Tronic 2000 Memory Sewing Machine.  This machine features electronic stitch selection and control.  It has a number of built-in stitches, the wind in place bobbin and a freearm bed for sewing in small areas such as hems and sleeves. Included in this auction is the machine and the foot/speed control and power cord.  There is one new needle and bobbin installed in the machine.  There are no accessories for this machine only the items as pictured.  WHILE THIS MACHINE SEWS WELL IT DOES HAVE ISSUES. It will sew along just fine then will skip a stitch and the thread will tangle on the bottom side.  I don't know if this is a tension problem or a bobbin problem.  The electronics seem to work fine on this machine. The bobbin fill, work light and foot control all work very well.  I have replaced 3 broken motor supports, a common failure on this model of machine. I have cleaned and lubricated the machine as needed. It does have a little noise when sewing but runs smooth and fast.  The machine is in good cosmetic condition with minimal signs of age and use. All the thread guides and spool pin and cap are intact.  I am not the original owner of this machine and can only attest to the present condition at this time.  Therefore this machine is being offered AS IS with no warranty or guarantee implied.
