Drusy is a very fine crystal layer that forms naturally on the surface of a stone, or a gem that has this specific type of gem formation. The gem is cut to highlight mother nature's artwork and expose the Drusy. The term Drusy is often spelled as Druzy, Druse, or Druzie(s) and all refer to the same thing. The tiny crystals look like sugar when it sparkles in the light.
