Copper Peptides (CPs) are the most effective skin renewal and skincare products. They are the natural signals used by the human body to repair and remodel skin. This is what keeps children's skin blemish and wrinkle free. Wrinkles and skin damage accumulate because of a lack of adequate skin remodeling and regeneration as we age, not because of cell and DNA damage due to free radicals and sun exposure. (Scientific American, Oct. 2008, pages 30-33).

It is BEST to work up to higher stregnth (CPs) starting first with CP Serum, then Super CP Serum -or- Tri-Reduction Cream before using Super Cop all over to avoid irritation.  Super Cop is GREAT for spot treating while building up with lower stregnth serums.

 

AM: After cleansing the skin, apply a light amount of LacSal Cream (a 10% hydroxy acid chemical exfoliant which helps to break down damaged skin proteins). Or use Exfol Cream (2% hydroxy acid exfoliator).

PM: After cleansing the skin, apply a light amount of Super Cop Cream (which contains a strong concentration of SRCPs that can be used very lightly once day). First use as a spot treatment on top on areas of pitted or raised scars or areas of hypo/hyperpigmentation. Use lightly; test on a small area first.

 

Tips/Cautions

For scars and skin lesions, rub a small amount of the cream into the lesion and increase the amount with time. The products are designed to have a selective uptake into scars and skin lesions but this may make them more apparent as the copper stains the scars and lesions. So it may be best to use this cream at night.

Your skin will adjust to the creams with time and many of our clients now use them for general facial regeneration and even around the eyes. But always start lightly at first. The products may cause itching if over-applied. However, you can wash the off with warm water if needed.

You also can moderate the effect of Super Cop by applying an oil before use. Emu Oil-S Lipid Replenisher for Skin and Squalane work well. If you find Super Cop Cream to be too strong, base the skin first with a light application of Emu Oil or Squalane then apply Super Cop on top. The oil will slow down the penetration rate of the strong copper-peptide cream thereby making it gentler on the skin.
