From the Smithsonian Institution shop, a lovely, airy, beaded dress. Features two layers of chiffon; the top layer is split in the front and the back and has a curved hemline that ends about 12 inches higher than the underlayer. The top is covered with small embroidered rectangles randomly accented with tiny black beads. The sleeves are unlined. No buttons or zippers; no pockets.  This beautiful dress is in superb condition with no soil or sign of wear. 100% polyester; made in Indonesia.

Although marked small, the measurements on this dress are very generous.

Garment measurements rounded to nearest inch: shoulder width seam-to-seam 17, bust 40, hips 48, center back length 50.

Manufacturers sizes vary widely, so if you are not familiar with a particular maker's sizing, we suggest checking the item's measurements against those of an item that fits you well.
