Super Mario All-Stars is a collection of all Super Mario jump and run games. As they originally were released on the NES only, they weren't available to the SNES players. They were overhauled with fresh graphics and sound while the gameplay and level design stayed exactly the same. As an added bonus, it's now possible to save progress in any game (not just Mario 3) and the developers added the "Lost Levels" game, which was never released before.
