appreciated the exotic flavour and design of oriental art --
when the art and antique shop was open many years ago we had
a section devoted exclusively to these marvelous things -- bronzes
/ ceramics, pottery figures / horses, wood block prints
/ textiles / Buddhas / snuff bottles / seals / silver items, etc. -- there was something mysterious
and thoroughly enchanting about them. Some select things still
remain -- some may appear at online auction when and if the spirit
moves me.
Each snuff bottle has an extensive
description, including details about the age, material/s used,
form, motif -- many tell of the provinence, where exhibited,
and book reference. Some include an illustration of the artist / period mark -- some show the spoon -- Price estimates provided
