This piece is made by Artisians and sold through Monies US but it not made by Monies itself. It is designed in the difficult moulded leather method with a center stone consisting of yashma. The color and pattern of the stones vary by nature. The chain is leather, 17" with adjustable 3" silver-tone links.
Monies US makes other lines with the Monies name which represents exceptional fashion jewelry and is designed by the Danish design team, Gerda and Nicolar Monies and their small group of specialized artisians. Their line focuses on nature--using natural materials such as horn, shell, semi-precious stones and many other exotic natural materials. MONIES jewelry is hand-made by skilled artisans, and ranges from the classic to the avant garde.
Resin is the only material Gerda and Nikolai work with that is poured into moulds. This allows artists to go outside of what nature provides, developing colors and textures to reflect their visions.
