This 1939 film is the third chapter in the Frankenstein franchise by Universal. Dealing more with redemption and vengeance, this film takes
a minor character in the first film and shows him in a truly new and different light

The film follows Wolf Von Frankenstein, son and heir to Victor Von Frankenstein has
just inherited his father's estate and fortune. A scientist like his father, Wolf knows the reputation of his father's name and work and has no intention of following
in his footsteps. Lurking in the ruins of the former Frankenstein lab is Ygor, the hunchbacked assistant to Victor. As Ygor and Wolf get to know each other, Wolf learns
of a secret that Ygor has hidden in the family tomb, the Frankenstein Monster! With his father's work in front of him, Wolf begins to try and right the wrongs of his
father's past, but will the dark plans of someone else once again bring shame to the Frankenstein name?

Boris Karloff became a father for the first time while filming this movie. When he was told that the baby had been born, he immediately went to the hospital
to see his wife and child while still in costume. When he arrived, in full Monster makeup and clothing, he created a panic throughout the hospital
