If you have any questions about shipping (we ship once a week), local pick up, etc., please read the auction FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) before you email us. Thanks!

AUCTION FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
Do you have a Buy It Now (BIN) price for an auction?
Sorry, no. But don’t let that stop you! Please feel free to bid!
When is payment on my item due?
Payment should be received within 3 days to meet our shipping cutoff (see below). If payment is not received within 7 Days we will file an Unpaid Item dispute with eBay and the item will be re-listed.
We ship to Paypal verified addresses only. If you have another location you would like us to ship to, please contact us before bidding closes to arrange specifics.
What forms of Payment do you accept?
New eBay policy states that Paypal is the only form of payment that Sellers may offer to Bidders. Other forms of payment may be requested by Bidders on an individual basis.
Is Local pick up Available?
Local pick up in Eastern Los Angeles County (near the County Fairgrounds in Pomona) is always welcome on a cash-and-carry basis.
How much will it cost to ship my item?
Please click on the “shipping and payments” tab to find the shipping calculator. The shipping calculator computes the shipping costs by weight and distance from Southern California. Please note that the weight listed in the item description is the actual weight of the item. The shipping weight will be between a few ounces to several pounds more, depending on the item. After packing 1000s of items ranging from double neck pedal steel guitars, to electronics of every sort to comic books we have a reliable estimate on the shipping weight.
What is included with shipping?
We hate receiving an item we purchased on eBay damaged during shipping because it was dropped into a box with a piece of crumpled newspaper and two used foam peanuts. We bet you do as well. We pack our items with great care and quality packing materials. Because of this, the shipping cost includes a charge to offset the costs of boxes, foam and peanut packing, bubble wrap and other supplies that we use when carefully packing your item. This amount varies with the item-one book obviously takes a lot less packing than a 50 pound amplifier. For those of you who believe these items have a cost of pennies, we implore you to check out the pricing on eBay or with (shudder) your local box and ship store.
Additionally, all items are shipped insured.
When will my item ship?
Due to our schedules, we ship on Wednesdays only. If payment is received and cleared before 12PM PST on Wednesday, your item will ship that day. If payment is received after the cut off, it will ship the following week.
When will my item arrive?
If we could accurately predict when a particular item will arrive at a particular location we would open a psychic hotline! Items shipped to the West Coast usually arrive within seven days of payment. East of the Rockies is usually within 7-10 days of payment. International, including Canada, is usually 7-14 days, though if your item gets stuck in Customs, it can take considerably longer. You will receive an automated message to your Paypal linked email account when postage is generated on Wednesday. This will include a tracking # with UPS/USPS that will allow you to track the progress of your item. Please note the USPS (US Postal Service) is horrible with tracking; especially on Parcel Post/Media Mail. This is why for most items we use UPS.
For items shipped via MEDIA MAIL please note: Media Mail is inexpensive but can take a long time to reach you. Count on at least 10 to 14 working days from shipment before your item arrives, often longer.
What happens if my item is damaged during shipping?
In the unlikely event of your item becoming damaged during shipping, please follow these easy steps: First, please hang on to all packing material-the shipper will need to have them for the insurance claim. Then, contact us and we will file a claim and keep you updated on the process.
Do you accept returns?
All items that are listed as “Parts or Project” or listed AS IS are not eligible for returns. If you feel your item is not as described or photographed, please contact us and we will come to a fair and equitable solution. However, shipping charges are never refundable as the USPS, UPS, etc. do not offer refunds.
If any of these terms seem unreasonable to you, please do not bid. Thanks for looking.
ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS
If you are fraudulently registered in the US and want us to ship to a country we do not ship to, you WILL be reported to eBay.
Due to changes in USPS regulation as of 14 May 2007, International Priority Mail is now the least expensive method of shipping to locations outside of the United States. First Class International mail does not get a tracking # and we will not use it.
Under no circumstances do we ship to: Brazil, Italy, Russia and most former Eastern Bloc nations, China, North Korea and Vietnam.
We are accomplished International Shippers so you may bid with confidence. However, we do not falsify customs forms so please don’t ask us to change the value of an item or declare it as a gift.
All Duties, Taxes, Customs and other port of entry fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
