Sony Micro TV

In 1962, Sony introduced to the world the "micro TV," the world's smallest and lightest portable TV set available at the time. It was born of the moment when transistors were redefining television and our lives. There was a drive to make TV sets more “human” and more personally enjoyable, sets for which we would develop an affection and would want to touch. Designers thought that if TV sets that were cute and appealing, people would want to hold them in their hands as they watched them.

 

For sale here is one of those vintage 1962 TV units, complete with power cord, earphones, cleaning cloth, owners book and carry case. Up until digital TV took over all TV transmissions, I know this unit worked. It still works, but one probably needs to connect it to some signal converter box to receive shows. This unit has seen limited use, and is in excellent condition. It is however, offered “AS IS” with no warranty or return. Please ask questions if you have any concerns before bidding. A neat antique TV.
