The SRS-P7 passive speakers provide a lightweight, portable option for your personal music player. With their compact size and shape, these speakers are perfect for a dorm room or office. Because they use a passive system, the power to sound these speakers comes from the source music player. These low cost, low-weight, compact speakers provide good sound. One way Sony accomplishes this is by featuring a bass reflex duct design; this design provides extra bass.

There is one stereo mini-plug on the speakers so that you can hook up your personal player with ease. The speakers are joined together for better portability. Because there are no power adaptors or batteries required, this speaker system is easy to pick up and carry to the next room (they weigh under ten ounces), or to the next state, should you want to travel with these small speakers.
