Highway 50 is above the river at some points, and at other points drops down for easy access. This mining claim has good access via 'California Highway 50' to 'Bull Creek Road'. Remember, this mining claim stretches a full 1/4 mile along the American River here! There is a whole world to explore here - both along the river, and on the parts of the claim that are high and dry as well. The river itself is varied here, with boulders and river rock, as well as a large gravel bar to work. This Federally Recorded Placer Gold Mining Claim has its northern border contoured to the Highway 50 road zone, and extends up the slope across the river to the south.
