The 1850'S Southern Belle is fifth in a series of Crochet Collector Dolls.
Her dress is lavishly designed with layer upon layer of beautiful crochet lace ans has hoops sewn in. The dress has an elegant off the shoulder neckline finely detailed with ribbons, roses and bows. Her tiny waist is set off with a huge bow at the back and a row of tiny pearl buttons and button hole loops.
The pantalets are authentically styled with laced up front, cinched waist and ruffled hems.
Also included are directions for a wide brimmed hat and dainty lace parasol.
Her dainty head is adorned with beautifully silky embroidery floss hair pulled back in a thick braided bun. Tiny ringlets cascade over each shoulder.
Uses bedspread weight threads size 10
Body is a "soft, jointed" crochet doll
Optional: one 1 3/8" touch activated music disc to make this a Musical Doll project
