West Georgia Folk Art Potter

Out of the swamp and up for adoption today is a face jug from the BUFFALO SWAMP POTTERY collection in West GA.  He says he's old enough to move out and needs a good family to take him in.This stunning young fellow is wearing glasses and has that intelligent look about him. He is one of my favorite.  Made from Georgia red clay, he stands 8.5 inches tall and is about 5.5 inches wide from ear to ear.  Fired in Autumn Frost glaze, he is absolutely stunning. Signed and dated on the bottom by the artist. A one of a kind gift for that special someone on your list. A great jug for any collection.Thanks for looking!
